Out Lesbian Actress Makes Top Twelve in 'Hellbent for Hollywood'

Out lesbian actress Noelle Messier has made it into the top twelve actors of the online reality series Hellbent for Hollywood after two weeks of 'hellish' challenges.

Two thousand actors from around the world auditioned for the reality series Hellbent for Hollywood, which creators call a cross between "the excitement of American Idol" and the "competitive challenges of Survivor." Out of the 2000 actors who auditioned, 100 were chosen to move on to the main competition.

Contestants are forced to undergo a series of challenges modeled on real-world Hollywood experiences, such as a TV/Film acting boot camp. The actors are also required to "grovel for votes on the Internet," as contestant Messier posts on her blog.

After two weeks of competing in various challenges, only 12 actors remain in the competition, including Messier. Messier, who recently appeared as an anonymous "Butch Lesbian" on 10 Things I Hate About You, needs the votes of her fans to keep on top in Hellbent for Hollywood. Messier has also appeared on Mind of Mencia and Ugly Betty. Messier's goal is to win the show as an out lesbian actress to jump-start her career and increase the visibility of LGBT actors in the television and film industry.
