Tomboy Fashion: Drop Crotch Pants are a YES

Tomboy Fashion: Drop Crotch Pants are a YES

Tomboy Fashion: Drop Crotch Pants are a YES

Give these pants a whirl for comfort and edge.

Hey Tomboys!

First and foremost let me say that for whatever unknown haterade reason, drop-crotch pant has many, many haters sippin’ from their basic haterade bottles. Every time I read about this trend, it seems as if people are afraid to say YES to the pants. I’m here to say YES to the dress is out, because YES to the pants is in. 2012 drop-crotch pants resurfaced as the most present and hottest trend in high-fashion men’s runway shows. Since then the look has made its way off the runways and into our everyday stores and closets on men and women and even babies. Check it out on this baby!:

Let’s talk a little bit about the drop-crotch trend. First and foremost, drop crotches come in many fabrics and lengths. To accept one drop-crotch pant is not to accept them all. So if you have one image in your mind of what these things look like, that’s cool, but give yourself a chance to experience the range of potential in drop-crotch wear. The definition of drop crotch is simply that the inseam of the pant ends at a lower point on the leg than traditional pants, yet still has material that grabs you around your waist. Like these sexy pants:

Drop-crotch pants are the perfect answer to people who like to achieve that slighty sagged look without having your butt or underwear hanging out. Drop-crotch pants have been fully rocked on celebrities in L.A. from Pink, to Gwen Stefani to Rihanna to Jared Leto to the guy who makes my coffee, goes to my gym, and is walking his dog to his doggy yoga class (also Jared Leto, probably, it’s LA!) But also, I rock em’ too. They are EVERYWHERE.

These pants are without limits. They come in many different fabrics. You can dress them up and head to formal events as such:

Tuxedo Style Drop-Crotch 539.00

Neil Barrett's tuxeo-style jogging pants. Featuring a cummerbund waist detail with leather trims and satin side panels.

Or you can dress them down, like you own a mothereffin' yacht, and go for a stroll:

If I still haven’t convinced you, but you are slightly curious, you don’t have to drop too much of your hard earned dollar bills on a pair to give them a whirl. You can find these guys on Amazon for 10, 12 bucks a shot and enjoy the absolute freedom and comfort that comes with them.

So tell me! Do you see these pants a lot where you’re from? Tell me about it. Do you think that they look like someone is wearing a diaper? Tell me about it! Every time I go back to my hometown in Virginia I get flack from my friends when I dare rock these outside of the house. It’s cool, I can handle it! I love you Virginia!

In all things Tomboy,
