"It's part of the game and it's a nice way to communicate with my fan base," Maluma said.

Rapper and singer Maluma has perfected the art of the thirst trap photo – and he has us all drooling!

The gorgeous Colombian artist frequently posts photos of himself shirtless, or in his underwear, or with just a strategically placed piece of fabric for his 63.4 million Instagram followers.

Ahead of the release of his sixth studio album Don Juan on Friday, Aug. 25, the “Hawái” singer recently sat down with E! News to chat about his penchant for posting scantily clad photos that show off his chiseled body. "I have fun," Maluma explained. "It's part of the game and it's a nice way to communicate with my fan base."

The 29-year-old real-life Don Juan says his photos represent his true unfiltered self. "I just enjoy being me, you know,” he told the outlet. "That's me 100 percent, I'm real, that's the things that I do every day."

The Latin crossover star explained that his photos are capturing his real life, saying, "The days that I show how I am, people are like...I don't know, they feel excited about it. But it's just the way I am, I feel real. I trust the process, I trust myself. It's not like something where I think, 'Oh, I should do this, I should do that, this is gonna be the great picture.' No, I just put the phone [up], whatever, 'Yo guys, boom.'"

But lest you think Maluma is just a pretty face and a hot bod, the recording artist has collaborated with Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Nick Minaj, and The Weeknd and also has a music label, production company, clothing line for Macy’s, fragrance collection, and his own Contraluz mezcal.

"Working hard, that's the only way to do it," he said about trying to juggle so many ventures at once. "Discipline is everything. If you have talent but have no discipline, you wouldn't make it. I would prefer having more discipline than talent."

Maluma’s Royalty Records music label is not just a vanity project, he actually puts in the work to develop artists. "I go for it. I listen to them, I choose the singles with them,” he said. “I really like to be involved because I love it, because I have the energy, because I'm still young.”
