It's a great day to be a MAX fan!

The popular singer reunited with frequent collaborator Illenium on their new single "Worst Day," which has fans banging their heads and in their feels all at once.

"Illenium just texted me asking for round two and he sent me this song. It was perfect! When you know, you know. It just clicked and I loved this song. I'm so glad we're putting it out together. It's such an emotional banger and I feel like that's really what Illenium does best. I love being a part of that. It goes really hard, but the message and story is so special. It's full of life, but it also really hits that emotional, tender sweet spot in your heart," MAX tells PRIDE.

Fans can catch MAX performing his latest singles and a slew of his hits including "Love Me Less," "Blueberry Eyes," "Butterflies," and many more on his current nationwide tour.

"It's been amazing. It's a mix of really high energy, big lights, all of that. There's also really intimate moments with 'Lights Down Low' and 'It's You.' We've been having fun on this tour because we've had some wildcard moments in the set."

As a proud ally to the LGBTQ+ community, the singer has also performed at a slew of Pride festivals throughout the country.

"It's just so nice to reconnect with the fans and feel that energy. I live for it, so it's special. I try to bring as much energy as possible. I want it to be an unforgettable night."

The star is also bringing back his OG hits to the stage, as his breakout Nickelodeon film Rags celebrates a big milestone.

"It's the 10 year anniversary of Rags, so I'm doing 'Someday' and I haven't done that before. This is my first headline show in Las Vegas ever, so we have to make it great. It's going to be a party!"

While MAX is keeping busy in his professional career, he's also prioritizing his role as a husband and father. The singer welcomed his first daughter, Edie Celine Schneider, on December 1, 2020.

"I'm just trying to be present. I've been so grateful to have so many dreams come true and be on this very slow build of a career. I'm manifesting those moments happening in the present and me actually enjoying them, rather than seeking happiness through it. She's the greatest thing ever. She has such a strong personality. When she chooses to come over and give me a kiss or hug, nothing makes me feel more incredible. It's beautiful to be her dad. I love being a girl dad."
