New York’s Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center celebrated activism and advocacy at its 17th Annual Women’s Event this past weekend where Gloria Steinem and Assembly member Deborah J. Glick were honored.

The event, held at famed Cipriani, honored Steinem with the Community Ally award for her decades of devotion to women’s rights, while Glick received the Center’s Impact Award, recognizing her important work as the first openly lesbian/gay member of the New York state legislature.

The Women’s Event, with its amazing auction, raised over $320,000 for the Center’s programs and services, according to a rep for the Center.

Also on hand to celebrate and help raise funds for the Center were the iconic Edie Windsor, Orange Is the New Black’s Lea DeLaria, and WNBA stars Susan Wicks, Kym Hampton, and Teresa Weatherspoon.

Here are a few pics from the historic occasion!
