MTV looks into the lives of two genderqueer people navigating family.
MTV's series True Life: I'm Genderqueer premieres tonight, and the episode features stories of Brennen, who will come out to his parents about being genderqueer, and Jacob, an out genderqueer New Yorker who changes their appearance when they go home to their parents.

Tracy E. Gilchrist is the VP, Executive Producer of Entertainment for the Advocate Channel. A media veteran, she writes about the intersections of LGBTQ+ equality and pop culture.
