Sneak Peak: Kelly McGillis Talks to Joy Behar: Video

Actress Kelly McGilis came out as a lesbian publicly in a SheWired video in May 2009, and now she joins Joy Behar on Joy's show Oct. 5, to chat about her civil union with her partner of 11 years, Melanie Leis. Here's a snippet of the interview in which Kelly talks openly about her rocky and long coming out / coming to terms process that was interrupted  in part when she was sexually assaulted several decades ago. The Accused, Witness and Top Gun star also weighs in on the part culture plays in coming out and in the rash of gay teen suicides.
