Talk about a heart-stopper!

Kit Connor has been hitting the gym and the Heartstopper star has officially entered his heartthrob era.

In a recently released photo of Connor alongside fitness coach Nathaniel Massiah, the actor showed off his muscular chest, abs, and arms. Naturally, gay Twitter has some very thirsty feelings about the photo — and they didn’t hold back.

Massiah shared a video on his YouTube of the two training together as Connor prepares for his new role.

The specifics of the new role are unclear, but it’s heavily speculated that it is in the MCU. Since the photo dropped, fans have been suggesting that the character Connor is bulking up for is a shapeshifting Skrull and member of the Young Avengers.

Interestingly, his Heartstopper co-star Joe Locke has already been cast in Agatha: Coven of Chaos with heavy speculation that he is starring as Wanda (aka Scarlet Witch’s) son Billy. Billy is also known as Wiccan, a Young Avenger, a powerful sorcerer, and wait for it, boyfriend to Hulkling!

That’s right, we could have more Kit and Joe romance content coming our way — well, if Marvel doesn’t cut it before it screens.

Not to get too conspiratorial, but these photo comparisons are compelling!

While Marvel has yet to confirm a Young Avengers project, it has been slowly introducing the characters into the MCU in recent years. Kate Bishop was the focus of Hawkeye. America Chavez was introduced in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. Kid Loki popped up in season one of Loki. Cassie Lang became a central character in this year’s Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania. So, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Wiccan and Hulkling joining in soon as well.

For now, we’ll have to wait and see exactly what Connor and the MCU are up to. Thankfully we can enjoy the photo of him getting into superhero shape in the meantime.
