Hilariously Shady Moments You Forgot Happened in 'Hocus Pocus'

It's a classic for a reason!

25 years ago, Hocus Pocus was released.

The Disney classic (which starred icons like Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy) follows the witch trio of the Sanderson sisters and what happens after they get ressurected by a typical teenage boy named Max.

In honor of the flick's 25th anniversary (and because we'll take any chance we can get to relive some good 'ol '90s childhood nostalgia), we thought we’d revisit some of the funniest—and downright SHADIEST—moments from the film. Did you really expect anything less from the three Sanderson Sisters?

The time Winifred had absolutely enough of her sisters.hocuspocus1

At least she said it to their faces...

And the time she questioned everyone else's intelligence.hocuspocus2

Spoken like a true shade queen.

The time little Dani called the Sanderson's out on their looks.hocuspocus3

That's a lot of shade in such a small package!

And the time this lady called them out on their age.hocuspocus4

IMHO, you're never too old to go trick-or-treating.

The time Dani saw right through her older brother Max's high school, cool-guy facade.hocuspocus5

Sidenote: did anyone else here think Max was a total babe?!

The time Max was 100% done with Halloween.hocuspocus6

At least he rocks the cool-guy look perfectly.

And the time he shaded the Sanderson sisters and their magic abilities.hocuspocus7

It's all just Hocus Pocus, right?!

The time Dani outed Max as a virgin.hocuspocus8

She ain't lyin' tho.

And last but not least, the time Billy tried to insult Queen Winifred, and she just flawlessly rolled with it.hocuspocus9

Proof that you can never out-shade the shade master.

Does anyone else have feel the nagging urge to watch Hocus Pocus right now? It is Halloween yet?! What are some of your fave Hocus Pocus moments? Let us know in the comments and on Twitter!
