Rachel Maddow mixed potent shots, talked Keith Olbermann, and played a guessing game called Politician or Rapper, Yo! Wednesday on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Maddow impressed host Cohen and guest Jenni Pulos (Flipping Out) with her shot version of a Negroni cocktail—gin, Campari, and sweet vermouth. She also discussed former MSNBC colleague Olbermann’s recent departure from his latest gig, at Current TV.
She was “totally shocked” by Olbermann’s ouster, she said, adding that she still wishes Current well in its mission as a liberal public affairs channel. “I’m a liberal,” she said. “I want there to be lots of places for people to be a liberal on TV. I want that to exist. I hear this Bravo place is nice, but in a different kind of way!”
She also did well at the game, which required her to guess whether certain quotes were from a politician or a rapper.
