Whenever we saw or read Chloe Sevigny’s reactions to Drew Droege’s infamous impersonations of her—where she’s depicted as a hipster snob of epic proportions (“Good evening, America, I’m Chloe Sevigny.”)—It felt like she really didn’t get the joke, or simply couldn’t laugh at herself. Well, maybe she learned her lesson, because, according to EW, the Boys Don’t Cry, Big Love, and If These Walls Could Talk 2 actress signed on to the third season of IFC’s hilarious Portlandia, which skewers hipster culture.
Sevigny will play a roommate to characters played by Fred Armisen and Carrie Brownstein (the bi former guitar player of Sleater Kinney), though Armisen and Brownstein portray almost every wacky character on the show, which pokes major fun at the latte and custom bike-obsessed 20- and 30-somethings who inhabit most cities, but are especially ubiquitous in Portland.
Maybe Chloe’s manager knew his or her client needed a little reality check. Anyway, America’s hippest actress will be busy this year, as she will also star on the next season of American Horror Story as a nympho. It’s recently come to our attention that we love Chloe!
