Reports that three Glee stalwarts, Lea Michelle, Chris Colfer, Cory Monteith—otherwise known as Rachel, Kurt and Finn—were leaving the hit show after the third season have been greatly exaggerated.

Glee’s
executive producer Brad Falchuk addressed the rumors at Comic-Con San Diego. An audible sigh of relief rippled through the Glee panel audience on Sunday when Falchuk stated that the reports were the result of speculation after show creator Ryan Murphy announced the trio would be graduating at the end of the upcoming season. Falchuk said that Gleeks should expect to see plenty of Rachel, Kurt and Finn after graduation, adding, “When you have Lea Michele under contract, are you gonna just decide not to use her?”

Other rumors surrounding the future of the show included a possible spin-off series for Kurt and Rachel. However, Falchuck said that they were against the idea at this time although it was something the producers had explored.
