Melissa Etheridge is in a blissful new relationship with Nurse Jackie creator Linda Wallem, according to People, but Melissa’s ex Tammy Lynn Michaels has taken to her blog to refute People’s claims that everything with Melissa’s new relationship was on the up and up.
While a ‘pal’ tells People that Melissa and Linda have been friends for 10 years – Linda was the ‘best man’ at Melissa’s wedding to Tammy – they recently took their friendship to a new level and are in a committed relationship. The magazine also asserts that the ugly break-up between Tammy and Melissa has become less contentious.
But Tammy has another thing altogether to say about that. In a new blog post entitled ‘speak, spread, walk the talk,’ she says that Melissa cheated while she and Tammy were ‘on a break.’ And here’s the prurient part… Tammy says she took a break from Melissa in November of 2009 so they could get some perspective, believing Melissa just needed space but realized that Melissa had a new fling when a box of new dildos intended for Melissa turned up on the door of the rental house where Tammy was staying.
While Tammy says quite a bit in her latest post she also lets it rip that she is in a new relationship with someone who is helping her believe in things like the Toothfairy again, although she does not say who it is.
