New year, new Troye Sivan?

After a long hiatus, the beloved pop star is teasing fans with a new era on the horizon, and it might be coming sooner than you think.

"happy new year angels," Sivan captioned a comfortable photo of himself, wine glass in hand. "thinking about releasing an album this year," he continued with heart emojis. "I will think about it."

For the girls who like numbers, it's been three years since he released his last body of work, a pandemic EP titled In A Dream. It's now been five years since his latest (and gayest) studio album, BloomBloom, graced our ears for the first time.

Though it's been a minute, Sivan did feed his fans with new music last year, including two songs for the soundtrack of the YA movie he starred in, Three MonthsThree Months, as well as remixes of "Angel Baby." In December of 2022, Sivan released a new collab with PNAU titled, "You Know What I Need", a clubby dance track about fixing a strained relationship.

Fans in the comments are freaking out, including his longtime collaborator Leland who wrote simply, "that would be really cool." Perhaps we'll see more collabs on Sivan's new body of work.

Since we don't have an actual date or even a single announcement, we'll just twiddle our thumbs until Sivan is ready to embark on this new era with us.

What condition does Troye Sivan have?

Sivan has a mild form of Marfan syndrome, an inherited disorder that affects connective tissue.

Is Troye Sivan in a relationship?

It's unclear. Sivan broke up with Jacob Bixenman in 2020 and hasn't publicly dated anyone since.

How did Troye Sivan get famous?

Sivan rose to fame as a YouTuber and transitioned to music. His debut album, Blue Neighborhood, cemented him as a force in music and one of the most prominent LGBTQ+ artists of the era.
