Just when we thought we've seen it all, toxic masculinity finds even more dumb new ways to disappoint us...

Adding to the already long list of things straight people think are gay, one straight dad is taking his fragile masculinity to new heights by thinking that his baby son liking things like flowers, fruit, and books is an early indicator that he'll grow up to be gay.

We literally can't make this stuff up.

In a screenshot of a viral Reddit post that was shared on Twitter by the @redditships account, a poor woman is seeking advice on what to do with her husband who thinks and makes comments about how their infant son liking things like flowers, bananas, books, and the way the light shines through one of the windows in their house (yes, this man really thinks LIGHT is gay) is a sign that he is gay.

"This has been going on for months," the original poster said. "I am tired of it, find it very strange and even though I've tried several times he doesn't seem to understand he's being ridiculous."

She continued:

"Each time one of these has come up, I've clearly disagreed with my husband when he makes his comments. I've told him none of them have anything to do with being gay or straight, boy or girl. I can't believe I'm having to have the conversation in the first place. My patience is wearing thin."

We don't blame you, sis!

"This bothers me in a few ways," she added. "First off even if he did turn out to be gay, I would like to think my husband would love and accept him the same as if he's straight. I've asked him before if he would and he says "of course" like I'm crazy to question. He says he's just joking. But his comments come off like he's critical."

Fortunately, those of use with minds not clouded by toxic masculinity were able to see through all of this nonsense and call it out...

Dear O.P., we sincerely hope you can get through to your husband and he can see how ridiculous he's being, and hopefully (for the sake of your child) you all can move on from this. But if not, we've got some advice for you...
