Halston Sage's résumé is stacked!

The Orville and Prodigal Son star won over many gaymer hearts last summer when she starred as "Emma" in Supermassive Games' blockbuster game The Quarry.

"That was fun! That was so cool. I loved filming that video game because it was all motion capture. You're basically a little kid using your imagination in this empty room. You're hooked up to all of these different cameras. To see the final results was just mind-blowing. It's amazing what they're able to do," Sage tells PRIDE.

Moving from the horror genre to something softer, the actress is now costarring in a new rom-com just in time for Valentine's Day. Her new film, Daughter of the Bride, followers a dynamic mother-daughter relationship between Sage and the iconic Marcia Gay Harden.

"I have loved this movie from the minute I read the script. I grew up watching rom-coms. They are the reason why I wanted to be an actress. Working with Marcia was amazing. She is such a legend. I always really admired her work, so to be on set with her was a dream come true."

Since rom-coms inspired her to pursue a career in entertainment, Sage is hoping audiences will feel the love through the screen.

"Anyone falling in love makes me happy. Any movie about love. You have to follow your heart. I always say the day it's not fun, I'll be done. I love it and I can't imagine a better job. I feel very lucky."

Daughter of the Bride is available now in select theaters, digital HD and on demand. To see the full interview with Halston Sage, check out the video below.
