Prepare yourselves for more Elle Woods! Another Legally Blonde sequel is coming!

Reese Witherspoon first announced the sequel in 2018, but she's finally given us a crucial update: Mindy Kaling has signed out to write the project alongside Parks and Recreation writer Dan Goor!

"Great news alert!! Some things are just meant to be! I'm SOOO excited to have @MindyKaling and #DanGoor writing Legally Blonde 3!" Witherspoon tweeted, alongside a picture of Kaling recreating a signature Elle Woods look. "This is #ElleWoodsApproved!"

Obviously, Witherspoon will reprise her role as Elle Woods, and the last we saw of her in Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde, the Harvard grad had her eye on the White House. 

"Finally some use for my Elle Woods fan fiction," Kaling wrote on Instagram. "So excited to be reunited with my friends @reesewitherspoon @laurenneu and Dan Goor to work on this movie. Elle Woods is so iconic, proving you can be girly and smart at the same time. Bend and snap people!"
