With this presidential election finally winding down (thank the heavens, because we’re not sure how much more of this circus we could handle), we are seriously going to miss the Obamas, particularly Michelle. And while I'm sure she wants to get out of the oval office and return to a life of being the absolutely most brilliant, ethical, hard working, stunning, and poised woman in the history of mankind, we can dream that one day, she will return to the oval office. This time, not as First Lady, but as Madam President. (Although, sadly, Barack Obama doesn't think Michelle would be interested. Stop dashing our dreams, Barack.)
Here are 10 reasons why we wish Michelle Obama would run for POTUS.
1. Her outstanding moral fiber
Her DNC speech will go down in history as one of the best of all time.
2. Her humor
Hands down, Michelle has the best humor of any First Lady ever.
3. Her understanding of power, privilege, and social inequalities
Not only her understanding of social inequalities, but her desire to change current power structures, and her effort to remove barriers that impede minorities and underprivileged folks from succeeding in America.
4. Her dedication to a healthier America
She knows the importance of a good diet, and how difficult it is for many folks to afford healthy foods.
5. Her dedication to women of color
Yeah, it's true. Black girls DO rock.
6. Her ability to give bomb-ass speeches
Time and time again, she's wowed us with motivating speeches that stir our souls.
7. Her fashion sense

Don't even get us started. She is and forever will be a fashion glamazon.
8. Her dedication to exercise and a healthy lifestyle
Michelle, could you beat up America's problems like you do that punching bag, please?
9. Her dedication to America
She believes that this country is the best on Earth, but is also still dedicated to making it better.
10. Her praiseworthy work ethic

She is a hard worker and a fighter. She doesn't give us. She is Michelle freakin' Obama.
It really is Michelle. Please, don't leave us.
