We never need much of a reason to post about Glee’s Naya Rivera, who plays Santana Lopez, the most smokin’ lesbian cheerleader / glee club member, well, EVER. While the Glee writers’ room is gearing up with a love story arc for Santana – to air circa the beginning of November, according to Eonline – Naya has quite the side job as an adorable cover girl. This month she’s stripped down to her skivvies for FHM and making it look as though running around in her knickers is her natural state of being.
While Naya’s playful photoshoot is really at the heart of the FHM piece she also weighed in on the effect Santana’s coming out as had on some young LGBT fans. “The reaction has been overwhelming. I’ve had tons of mail from fans about how my storyline enabled them to come out,” she told FHM.
The actress also chatted about her inner wild child, which she’s tamed somewhat since she was teen.
“I’m really easygoing nowadays. Mind you, when I was 17 things were a little different, Naya said. “I used to be an extrovert wild child which is probably why I got into acting and singing. I was very outspoken and didn’t really like conforming to a bunch of rules. And since that’s basically what high school involves, it meant I was always getting into trouble."
Judging from the photos it's not hard to believe Naya had a wild side.
