Shot of the Day: Jennifer Lawrence Charms Snakes for NY Times Mag's Hollywood Heroines

This Sunday’s New York Times Magazine pays homage to “Hollywood Heroines -- 13 Leading Ladies of 2012.” With her mega-box office turn as Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games and her Oscar-buzz performance in Silver Linings Playbook no list of great movie actresses of 2012 would be complete without one Ms. Jennifer Lawrence and she definitely made it into the NYT Mag's list.

Photographer Tierney Gearon depicts J-Law in a trippy, smokey-eyed J-Law charming a snake. Take the whole snake metaphor as you will, but she looks amazing in the series entitled “Wide Awake.”

The other women honored in the NYT Mag are Keira Knightley, Kerry Washington, Elle Fanning, Helen Hunt, Amy Adams, Shirley MacLaine, Quvenzhane Wallis, Naomi Watts, Rebel Wilson, Anne Hathaway, Marion Cotillard and Emanuelle Riva. Check it out here.
