A shoplifter attempted to steal a massive dildo from an adult store on Sunday. Just your average Sunday Funday in West Hollywood.

The incident happened at Circus of Books on the Santa Monica bar strip this past Sunday, January 29th. In the video footage from the security cameras, you can spot the not-so-inconspicuous thief picking up what the store's website describes as the FAAK Fantasy Massive Black C*ck 30" off of a shelf.

The person in question attempts to walk out of the store but is quickly followed and stopped by an employee. According to WeHoTimes, employee Marcus Blackwell says the workers were “ready like Freddy” and chased "after the 'hot mess klepto' before the person was able to make a getaway." Once they were caught, it seems like they dropped the dildo. You can also spot the employee walking back into the store with the dildo cradled in their arms.

WeHoTimes also gave a brief history of the famous adult store. "The Book Circus opened in 1960 and with the very cruisy Vaseline Alley behind the store quickly became the epicenter of the gay community at that time. In 1980 and through the AIDS crisis it became the original Circus of Books, WeHo’s version of Stonewall. In 2020 it has been reimagined and reopened with the addition of Circus of Books West."

The absolutely massive dildo measures in at 30.7″ long, 6.88″ around, and 11″ at the base. Hopefully, this was more of a decorative snatch than a practical one but hey, we don't kick shame over here. The FAAK Fantasy Massive Black C*ck retails for $699.95.

It's unclear if the police were called after the attempted robbery, but Circus of Books certainly got a good laugh and incredible footage of the incident. And for the dildo thief still at large... maybe try a more manageable size next time.
