lus, love & coming out gets complicated for everyone in the City of Love.

Young love blooms (and gets complicated) in the city of love for Nick, Charlie, and the gang in the final season two Heartstopper trailer.

While the first season ended with Nick and Charlie officially becoming boyfriends the second season sees them processing what that means moving forward. Yes, it means plenty of stolen kisses and heartwarming moments for the two, but for Nick, it means reckoning with coming out publicly. Charlie is ready to support him in whatever he wants, and thinks, likely very incorrectly, that he can protect him and give his boyfriend the thing he never had, a chance to come out the way he wants.

Plus the whole gang is headed on a school trip to Paris, aka the most romantic city in the world, what could go wrong?

In the trailer, we also see that the romantic tension between Tao and Elle is growing as they try to work out if they could ever possibly be friends. On the other hand, our seemingly happiest and most secure couple Tara and Darcy are facing surprising challenges in their relationship, as Tara confesses her love and Darcy seems confused about her feelings. Also, Issac appears to have a love interest that will force him to take his nose out of his book and explore his own feelings.

But that's not all, exams are also on the horizon and they have a prom to plan. So, yeah, the gang has a lot to juggle as they journey through the next stages of life, love, and friendship.
