Season eight of The Masked Singer officially has its winner. The big announcement came during last night’s finale and let’s just say that the reveal filled us with Glee.
In a season of wild performances and wilder costumes — including a venus flytrap, a hedgehog, and a full-on knight — the finale came down to a battle between The Harp and a musical trio, The Lambs.
The Harp kicked off the finale with a performance of Lady Gaga’s The Edge of Glory, which brought down the house. How do you top that? Well, for her last number, she was joined by a full choir for a gospel interpretation of John Mayer’s Gravity.
Not to be outdone, The Lambs’ first performed a cover of I’m Every Woman by Chaka Khan for their initial number. They followed it with their interpretation of Foreigner’s epic rock ballad I Want to Know What Love Is”

While all the contestants really brought it for the season finale, in the end it was The Harp who was named champion and earned the Golden Mask Trophy. Not only did she beat The Lambs for the coveted title but 20 other contestants including Joey Lawrence, Kat Graham, Jerry Springer, and Mario Cantone.
It was time for the big reveal beginning with the runners-up who were unveiled to be the iconic pop group, Wilson Phillips.

Finally, The Harp removed her mask and revealed herself to be Glee star Amber Riley. “I just want to say, whatever it is that you want in this life, you go after it,” she said. “It may be hard. It may be a rocky journey, but at the end of that journey, it will totally and completely be worth it. So, keep going.”
The Panda, who was revealed to be Natalie Imbruglia, won The Masked Singer season 7. Amber Riley who was revealed to be The Harp won The Masked Singer season 8.
