Considering all the new ways the websites you visit invade your privacy, it’s about time those privacy breaches were put to good use. Hence, we thought you might want to know about The Googlher.
This device aims to make your innocent (or not) web surfing more physically enjoyable. Here is the gist: The Googlher is a vibrator you plug into your computer’s USB port, and each time Google pings your browser it vibrates, thus morphing Google’s overly-eager prying into what you’re doing into pleasurable vibrations.
This video demonstrating The Googlher in action may be somewhat NSFW (depending on where you work – if people moan in your office a lot, then go ahead and turn up your volume):
At the very least this device will show you just how often you’re being pinged. To really get The Googlher going, try doing something along the following lines: Go to Google, and if you use Gmail, Google+ or have any kind of Google account, log on in. Now check your email, post this story on Google+, get directions to that party tomorrow night, add it to your calendar… The more you do within Google, the greater the action from your new favorite device.
While I am pretty sure that Google is not actually producing these nifty little pleasure machines, despite the company name and logo being use to market them (“let Google touch you where it counts”) you can find out how to easily make one of your very own here. So get building and go Google!
