If you had told me a few weeks ago that Blair St. Clair would create the ultimate dance-pop bop, I would have been skeptical, but honey, that’s exactly what she did in her newest single "Now or Never."
The music video to the song features none other than Instagay Max Emerson and fellow Drag Race alums Jinkx Monsoon and Manila Luzon.
The video tells a story of a woman in an abusive relationship who breaks free from her partner in order to find out who she is and discover the greatness that was in her all along.
Prior to her elimination last week, Blair opened up on RuPaul’s Drag Race and Untucked about a sexual experience she had in college where she was raped at a party. Since then, she has created this bubbly persona in order to remain positive and to see the light in this world.
This song feels like a ode to her new, powerful self. An empowered woman who is taking actions to overcome and move past previous trauma.
Thank you Blair, for sharing your experience on national television. Keep being the beacon of light you are to so many people around the world. We love and support you.
