Todrick Hall is a true multi-hyphenate: Broadway actor, singer-songwriter, frequent Drag Race guest judge, YouTube extraordinaire. And now, to add to his impressive list of feats, the longtime entertainer is now the face of this year's Pride Month campaign — aptly entitled Live With Love — from popular makeup brand Morphe

Featuring a 25-shade eyeshadow palette, a 6-piece brush set & case, and a hand mirror, this year's rainbow-tastic, colorful AF collection is the perfect way to ring in Pride season 2021, especially after being cooped up in the house for so long over the past 15 months!

PRIDE got the chance to sit down with Todrick to talk about fronting Morphe's Live With Love campaign, the infectious bop he wrote for it (also entitled "Live With Love"), his love for beauty and makeup artists, what's on the horizon for him now that the world is slowly but surely starting to open back up again, why his LGBTQ+ fans mean so much to him, and so much more!

And one of the best parts of Morphe's latest Pride collection this year, besides all the beautiful, rainbow-colored products available for sale, is that 100 percent of the net proceeds will be donated to The Trevor Project, the country's leading organization that provides suicide prevention and crisis intervention services to LGBTQ+ youth!

"The Trevor Project’s crisis services hear from LGBTQ young people who say that using beauty products can feel empowering, and that makeup can help with positive forms of expression and self-care," Shira Kogan, The Trevor Project's director of corporate development said about the role makeup and beauty play when it comes to the self-esteem and personal expression of many LGBTQ+ youth. "We’re excited that our partnership will enable The Trevor Project to share our resources with Morphe’s communities, and their donation will help us to continue serving LGBTQ+ youth in crisis 24/7 and for free."

"There’s a significant overlap between Morphe’s consumers and The Trevor Project’s audience of LGBTQ+ youth and their allies, so our collaboration is a natural fit," Joshua Weaver, The Trevor Project's vice president of marketing, added about being partners with Morphe. "Working together with Morphe, we’ll be able to amplify The Trevor Project’s messages of love and support to let LGBTQ+ young people across our channels know that they are never alone."

"I started doing stuff with the Trevor Project years, and years, and years ago," Todrick told PRIDE. "So the fact that they're donating so much money, and that this is such a great collaboration with such a great cause is that the thing that attracted me to it. I have so many fans that fall under that umbrella. The LGBTQ+ community supports me so much, and they come to my concerts."

He continued:

"There are a lot of kids who go to school, and they get made fun of, and they get beat down there, and then they come home, and they get even more beat down in their own homes, which is just absolutely heartbreaking. I could cry right now when I think of the stories that I've heard. Everybody is just looking for an ounce of, a pebble, a little Hansel and Gretel breadcrumb to be the light at the end of the tunnel, that they're going to make it to the next day. When you're in middle school and you got six more years to stay at home, and you get made fun of at home, and beat down emotionally when you're at school as well...some people think, 'What is the point? Why would I continue doing this? Six years feels like eight lifetimes from now.' There are a lot of people out there that want to give up. So I love that the Trevor Project exists. I love the work that they do for the community and I love that they've teamed up with Morphe and in turn have asked me to be a part of it because it's something I'm super passionate about. If this project and this collaboration makes one kid feel beautiful, or they hear the song and it's something they hear on loop and use it as a reminder for them to live with love, and to feel beautiful, and to wear what they want to wear, and not care what people think. If this is the anthem that keeps one kid alive, then I think that Morphe, and The Trevor Project, and I have done our jobs. This is beyond makeup and beauty at this point. This is a movement that is going to change and help save lives. And so I'm just more thrilled than ever to be a part of it and be associated with this campaign."
