Fashion Star contestant Kara Laricks may not have sold her tie designs on the first show (we loved them!), but Saks has purchased her clothes every week since!
Last night in "High End Appeal; Mass Market Appeal," the fourth episode of NBC's reality series Fashion Star, the designers were asked to create a high end item and a matching low end item. Out designer Kara wowed the judges and buyers (and us) with her high end black tuxedo tails and low end army green tux jacket.
Saks and Macy’s both bid on Kara’s Tuxedo Jacket design. Once again, Saks purchased the design with a bid of $70,000, bringing the total amount of Kara’s sales so far to an amazing $230,000. Go Kara!
