Zaya Wade, the 15-year-old daughter of NBA star Dwyane Wade and actor Gabrielle union, got all dolled up for her winter formal and posted the beautiful photos on Instagram.

Wade wore a shimmering white gown, dark nails, a large white flower, and flowing hair. "Beautiful," said filmmaker Lena Waithe. "You win. so major," commented Union's The Inspection costar Jeremy Pope. R&B singer Kehlani simply commented some heart-eye emojis.

Wade's parents also celebrated the moment on their Instagram pages, smiling ear to ear in sweats as they jump in Zaya's photoshoot. In the carousel, you can even hear Union singing, "there she is" as Zaya ascends the stairs. They shared a loving message on the post.

"Supporting each other for life’s big moments is key. All the nerves, all the anxiety, all the fear… With loved ones by your side, no matter the challenge, we 10 toes down. Always." They concluded the joint post with a series of heart emojis.

The Wades publicly shared Zaya's transgender identity back in 2020 on theEllen DeGeneres Show. "We just trying to figure out as much information as we can to make sure that we give our child the best opportunity to be her best self," Wade told Ellen. "We want [our kids] to be whoever they feel that they can be in this world."

Last year, Wade filed a request with the Los Angeles County Court asking a judge to change his daughter’s legal name to Zaya Malachi Airamis Wade. To protect her from trolls, they also carefully monitor social media use and comments for the 15-year-old.
