Will Deadpool's pansexuality be addressed in future sequels? Ryan hopes so.

In a recent interview with Variety, Deadpool actor and Golden Globe nominee Ryan Reynolds talked very briefly about the character's pansexuality, and how he would definitely be up for a storyline in any upcoming sequels that included a boyfriend for everyone's fave sarcastic antihero.

"What love is to Deadpool may not be what love is to Batman or someone else," Reynolds told the trade magazine. "I think that could be played up more. He’s an outsider in every way, shape, and form."

While the prospect of Deadpool being in a same-sex relationship excites the hell out of us, it is worth noting that, as NewNowNext points out, Marvel has recently been pushing for more and more LGBT-inclusive narratives.

We're crossing our fingers that Deadpool's pansexuality is explored more in the upcoming sequels (Variety reports that filming is currently underway in LA), because the more queer representation in comic book/superhero media, the better.

Now the only question left is, if Ryan Reynolds' Deadpool were to have a boyfriend, who would play the part?
