We don't know about you, but for us here at SheWired, it's been a long week. Recovering from a raucous time at Dinah Shore last weekend, we're in the mood for some good old-fashioned snark and female empowerment.

Enter the often-inspirational meme aggregator Upworthy. The site posted the image below from the spectacular siteEveryday Feminism, and we love the message behind Eve Ensler's quote. Here's what the Vagina Monologues creator has to say about the power of femininity:

"I think the whole world has essentially been brought up not to be a girl," says Ensler. "How do we bring up boys? What does it mean to be a boy? To be a boy really means not to be a girl. To be a man means not to be a girl. To be a woman means not to be a girl. To be strong means not to be a girl. To be a leader means not to be a girl.

"I actually think that being a girl is so powerful that we've had to train everyone not to be that."
