Sara Gilbert Announces on The Talk That She and Linda Perry Are Expecting Their First Child

Congratulations are in order for Sara Gilbert and Linda Perry, who are expecting their first child together, Gilbert announced on her show The Talk on Tuesday.

The Talk cohosts were in the middle of a "Facing Your Fears" segment of the show when Gilbert, 39, explained that she couldn’t take on a dare to stretch out on a bed of nails and have a cinder block broken over her stomach (is this a common fear?).

"I really do believe in facing your fears and doing things that make you uncomfortable, but I actually can't do the dare because I'm pregnant," Gilbert revealed, according to CBS news. 

Gilbert and record producer and former 4 Non Blondes front woman Perry, 49, wed in March of this year at a ceremony fit for a rock star (Perry sang to Gilbert and also enlisted several ‘80s acts including Bow Wow Wow, and Teri Nunn of Berlin to perform).

Former child star from Rosanne, Gilbert, has two children from her previous relationship with TV writer Ali Adler.
