WATCH: Elisabeth Hasselbeck Says News Rosie O'Donnell Rejoining The View 'Ruined' Her Vacation

With all the horrible things happening in the world Elisabeth says that news that Rosie returning The View 'ruined' her vacation.

Typically we pay zero attention to anything that comes out of Elisabeth Hasselbeck’s mouth since she’s paid by Fox News to be ignorant and contentious, but Elisabeth took time out of her precious “staycation” to call into her show Fox and Friends and insult Rosie O’Donnell, with whom she had a feud on The View seven years ago (talk about really letting go). Elisabeth was so disturbed by the news that Rosie might join Whoopi Goldberg on the couch at The Viewsince the recent purge there that she stopped flipping pancakes and called in to give soundbite after soundbite on what is clearly the most important issue of the day (ensuring she collects a check).

She began the call by saying, “What could ruin a vacation more than to hear news like this?”

Oh, we don’t know, maybe horrifying violence in the Middle East, kids being forced to flee Central America, missing Nigerian girls, global warming leading to drought, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc…

Elisabeth goes on to say:

“I know Rosie very well. We worked quite closely. Talk about not securing the border! Here in comes to The View the very woman who spit in the face of our military, spit in the face of her own network, and really in the face of a person who stood by her and had civilized debates for the time that she was there, coming back with a bunch of control ready to regain a seat at the View table. Not surprising. I think this has been in the works for a long time.”

The former The View cohost also planted a seed that Rosie and Whoopi are bound to be at war since Whoopi is an EGOT winner and the clear and present leader of The View.

Rosie is a big-hearted button pusher from way back, who wouldn’t suppress an opinion if she were choking on it, but that’s why we love her. We also love her for being an adoptive mom, for all of her charity work, and for being so good on The Fosters!

Meanwhile, Elisabeth attempts to remain relevant by citing a 7-year-old feud. Rosie returning to The View is the best thing for Elisabeth’s career since she landed her gig on Fox and Friends. She should be thanking her.
