Katy Perry Does Gaga's 'Born This Way' for Her Fans in Paris: Video

Lately you can’t swing a cat on the radio without hitting a pop diva with an LGBT anthem. And in today’s ‘meta’ world now the pop divas are paying homage to the other pop divas’ anthems. While much ado has been made about Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” bearing a striking aural resemblance to Madonna’s classic “Express Yourself,” there’s not denying it’s nothing if not catchy. And that catchiness is not lost on Katy Perry, who has her own anthem aimed at uplifting the “outsider” with “Firework.” This is a great idea. The ladies should all play round-robin with each others’ anthems, so P!nk should take on “Firework” and Gaga should belt out “Raise Your Glass."

At her concert in Paris Monday night Katy raised her glass to Gaga with a slowed-down acoustic version of “Born This Way.” Give a listen below. And kudos to Katy. This is a great idea. The ladies should all play round-robin with each others’ anthems, so P!nk should take on “Firework” and Gaga should belt out “Raise Your Glass."
