Here's Who Isn't Coming Back for 'Élite' Season 4

Our fave teen drama is coming back for another season, but with major cast changes...

The global pandemic might have all of us bored and doing crazy things, but here's some good news that will hopefully brighten up any TV lover's day: our favorite, queer AF, murderous teen drama Élite is officially coming back for a fourth season on Netflix!

The official Élite Instagram account made the super cute announcement in a video post over the weekend that featured many of the cast members from past seasons, including our fave gay ship Omander (played by Omar Ayuso and Arón Piper), telling everyone how excited they are about the news of the show's triumphant return for a fourth round. It was previously reported that the Spanish series was going to take a page out of the playbooks of other notable teen dramas like Skins and completely refresh the entire cast, so it's good to see many familiar faces...but that doesn't mean there won't be any major cast changes.

Yup, unfortunaately, we won't be seeing Mina El Hammani (Nadia), Danna Paola Lucrecia (Lu), Ester Expósito (Carla), Álvaro Rico (Polo), and Jorge López's (Valerio) beautiful faces on Élite any time soon.

This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone who is already all caught up with the show's first three seasons. All of the aforementioned characters and their arcs were pretty much wrapped up and completed by the end of season three, but it's still sad to see!

Luckily, as an emotional AF send-off, the Élite Instagram account also created a super sweet tribute to our beloved actors!

While we're more than glad to see one of our favorite TV shows return for a fourth season, we'd totally be lying if we said we weren't sad that some of our favorite castmates and characters aren't going to be walking the halls of Las Encinas anymore...

The first three seasons of Élite are currently streaming on Netflix!
