SheWired's Afternoon Web Crawl for Nov. 3: Pink, Gwyneth, Glee, Scar-Jo and more...

Here's a smattering of pop culture from around the web! Today's tidbits include: Pink's new song "F**king Perfect," Gwyneth Paltrow on Glee, DWTS Bristol Palin admits she forgot to vote, lesbian DVD releases from Wolfe including Elena Undone and the Four-Faced Liar, Molly Shannon gets her own show, Scarlett Johansson is the sexiest human / alien ever and the perfect lesbian accessory for winter -- The Smitten!

With so much information coming at us on the Internet it's tough to keep up with all of the mostly meaningless but guilty pleasure type of info out there – and some of it is meaningful. Either way, here's a smattering of pop culture from around the web!

It’s been a good week for P!nk fans. The adorable badass released her highly anticipated “Raise Your Glass” video to coincide with the upcoming release of Pink's Greatest Hits…So Far.

Now, the fierce little aerialist with the big voice has another new song sure to become an anthem for the disenfranchised and those who just plain like a killer song alike. “Pretty, pretty please, if you ever feel like you’re nothing, you’re fucking perfect…to me.” That Pink has quite a way with words. Give Pink’s “F**king Perfect” a spin here, and while you’re at it, if you haven’t watched Pink play a wallflower, a sumo wrestler, a bespectacled acoustic singer and a skate punk in the “Raise Your Glass” video, check that out too! It is the perfect antidote to some of the bad news spewing from Tuesday’s election.

Speaking of the intersection of politics and pop culture, Dancing with the Stars hanger-on Bristol Palin admitted she forgot to send in her absentee ballot, and therefore did not vote in yesterday’s election. Oh well, at least we’re fairly certain Bristol wasn’t voting for equality anyway.

While Pink is singing “F**king Perfect,” star of the upcoming faux biopic Country Strong, Gwyneth Paltrow’s warming up her vocal chords singing Cee-Lo’s “F**k You” on Glee. Gwynnie’s Glee character is supposed to shake things up with a love rectangle between Jayma Mays’ John Stamos’ and Matthew Morrison’s characters…. zzzzzZZZZZzzzzzz. I’d prefer she don Shakespeare drag and play Benedick to Lea Michelle’s Beatrice. Oh well… can’t have it all.

Here is the video for Cee-Lo's "F**k You":

If you live in a state where anti-equality tea party candidates had their day and you want to lick your wounds, get ready to hunker down with some new lesbian-themed DVD releases.

First up, experience the longest kiss ever on film in Nicole Conn’s Elena Undone, beating out the previous record from 1941’s You’re in the Army Now, and this time it’s two women!

The story hinges on Elena -- 24’s Necar Zadegan -- who’s married to an outspoken, anti-gay pastor and who’s life becomes “undone” when she’s beguiled by out lesbian writer Peyton (Tracie Dinwiddie).

While Elena Undone offers up plenty of sex, love and relationship entanglements, it goes a step further in shooting what is being hailed as the longest screen kiss, straight, gay or otherwise. Jane Wyman and Regis Toomey clocked in a kiss at three minutes and five seconds in 1941's You’re in the Army Now but the Elena Undone kiss beats it at three minutes and 24 seconds. Plus, it's gorgeous women. You can't go wrong. The DVD of this festival favorite is on sale nowat Wolfe Video.

Next, get ready for the DVD release of writer and star Marja Lewis Ryan’s modern take on the intricacies of friend / love relationships with The Four-Faced Liar, due out on DVD Nov. 9.

Our reviewer Rebekah Allen had this to say about Ryan when the film played at Outfest this summer.

“One of the most fascinating aspects of The Four-Faced Liar is its writer, Marja Lewis Ryan, who also co-produced and stars as Bridget. She’s a first-time filmmaker who originally studied theater and wrote the first draft of the film as a play. Ryan’s studies paid off -- her Bridget is a an increasingly likable character with a pleasant charm and a confidence that makes her seem even more sympathetic when she finally gives in to her emotions.”

The women of SNL got all of a two-hour special for the first time in 35 years Monday night, and riding that wave is one Ms. Sally O’Malley, I mean Mary Catherine Gallagher, I mean Jeanie Darcy, I mean Molly Shannon!

Deadline Hollywood reports that Molly, is getting her due with HBO developing a series for the seriously funny lady. Molly will play a woman who became a nun after having her heart broken at 18. Now, in her 40’s Molly’s virginal character will attempt to traverse the life outside the confines of the convent.

“It's James Joyce meets Judd Apatow -- a female 40-Year-Old Virgin with a huge dollop of Catholic weirdness thrown in," said writer / producer Tim Long… Hmmm. While I adore Molly, my jury is out on the concept. We shall have to wait and see!

Here’s a completely hackneyed take on female sexuality that I will totally contribute to by plunking down my $12 for a ticket and $4.50 on popcorn on opening day. Scarlett Johansson is slated to star in Sexy Beast director Jonathan Glazer’s Under the Skin, as a perfect female / alien creature in who lures men into her clutches and only to spit them out with her evil lady parts…or something like that. Here’s the real description:

“Johansson plays an alien on earth, disguised as the perfect aesthetic form of a mesmerizing woman. She scours remote highways and desolate scenery looking to use her greatest weapon to snare human prey -- her voracious sexuality.”

It looks like Hollywood still fears powerful, sexy woman, so brace yourselves for 10 more years of Judd Apatow.

And last but not least...

Maybe its just that we needed something sweet and adorable to warm our hearts after all the stress and disappointment of yesterday's mid-term elections, but we thought that this was something most definitely worth sharing.
