What an amazing homage!

It’s safe to say that Tracy Chapman doesn’t come up often enough in this day and age, considering she’s pretty timeless. We can thank Kelly Clarkson (whose new album Piece By Piece is climbing the charts) for this soulful cover of Chapman’s bluesy hit “Give Me One Reason.” Clarkson could probably sing the phone book and it would sound like a masterpiece, but wow, she really blows the doors off of Chapman’s song. The convergence of LGBT-friendly Clarkson belting a Chapman classic is making our ‘90s queer girls heads explode.

Without further ado…
