The vice presidential debate of the 2016 election cycle is over, and the candidates brought up some important issues. The key focus was, quite obviously, the (sometimes heated) interactions between Hillary Clinton's Democratic nominee Tim Kaine and Donald Trump's Republican nominee (and noted anti-LGBT legislator) Mike Pence.
Just like last month's first presidential debate, the battle between the VPs pretty much dominated every conversation on social media, especially on Twitter. People on all sides of the political spectrum reacted to the Kaine-Pence bicker fest. It's tough to say who won (many give that title to Pence), but it's evident that many topics still need to be discussed — and debated — before Election Day.
