Break-out pop star Katy Perry will have a shot to kiss a lot of girls and see if she likes it now that Club Skirts’ Mariah Hanson has announced that the “I Kissed a Girl” chanteuse will headline THE DINAH 09, which runs April 1 – 5, 2009 in sunny Palm Springs, Calif.
"I am ecstatic about this year's line up. I think it's the best yet. Katy Perry's hit is the 2009 lesbian anthem,” Hanson said in a statement.
In keeping with showcasing hot, new talent and tried and true favorites Club Skirts founder Hanson has tapped Perry, The Indigo Girls, Robin S, Jill Bennett, Elizabeth Keener, Suzanne Westenhoefer, Uh Huh Her, God-Des and She, Yo Majesty, Fannius III, Erin Foley and Briana Stockton.
“The excitement upon the announcement is tremendous. The Indigo Girls and Uh Huh Her are also getting a huge reaction so I am really pleased. I am expecting our biggest year yet!"
