The Republican got kicked out of play with a surprising companion.

In a turn of events that is surprising to absolutely no one, Rep. Lauren Boebert is being a hypocrite again.

On Sunday night the MAGA darling and a friend attended a stage performance of Beetlejuice where the two were ultimately ejected for vaping, singing and recording the show. Boebert being terrible is nothing new, but it was her choice of guest that proves what a hypocrite she is.

The Daily Mailreported yesterday that Boebert was joined by Aspen bar owner Quinn Gallagher. According to the outlet the two have been “secretly dating” for several months since the Republican filed for divorce back in May.

Flying in the face of Boebert’s anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric, Gallagher co-owns Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen, which has hosted queer events like a “Winter Wonderland Burlesque & Drag Show” and multiple events during Aspen Gay Ski Week, according to the bar’s Instagram account.

We love a drag show, but the conservative representative dating someone who hosts them is making us see red—you can’t have it both ways Boebert!

Boebert is one of a growing number of Republican extremists who rail against drag queen story hours and spout homophobic and transphobic nonsense about “grooming” children. In 2022 she tweeted, “Take your children to CHURCH, not drag bars.” and “A North Carolina preschool is using LGBT flag flashcards with a pregnant man to teach kids colors. We went from Reading Rainbow to Randy Rainbow in a few decades, but don't dare say the Left is grooming our kids!”

But we aren’t the only ones confused by the Trump-loving Republican’s choice of theater companion. A “well-placed source” told The Daily Mail that they “always thought Quinn [Gallagher] was a cool guy and a Democrat. His parents would be horrified because they are definitely blue.”

This just proves what we all already knew, that conservatives speak out of both sides of their mouths and have different rules for themselves than the ones they try to force on the rest of us.

Maybe, just maybe he'll rub off on her!
